Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Lurevo collects, why it is used, how it is protected and the rights available to you.

Last updated: 2 July 2026

1. Who we are

Lurevo is operated by Charli Nelson, trading as Lurevo, in the United Kingdom.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, the operator of Lurevo is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

Privacy and support enquiries can be sent to support@lurevo.co.uk.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Lurevo, we may collect:

  • Account information, including your name, email address, authentication identifier and account preferences.
  • Trading-journal information, including instruments, trade direction, prices, results, profit or loss, sessions, risk-to-reward values, checklist answers, confidence, emotions, notes and reviews.
  • Files you choose to upload, such as trade screenshots.
  • Theme, session, checklist and journal field settings.
  • Messages and information you provide when contacting support.
  • Technical and security information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, session information, timestamps and error records.
  • Subscription and transaction records if paid plans are introduced. Payment card details would be handled by the payment provider rather than stored directly by Lurevo.

3. Sensitive information

Lurevo is designed for recording trading activity. You should not upload bank card information, passwords, broker login details, API secrets, identity documents, medical records or other unnecessary highly sensitive information.

Free-text notes may allow you to enter information that Lurevo did not request. You are responsible for deciding what you include and should avoid entering information that is not necessary for reviewing your trading.

4. How we use your information

Personal information may be used to:

  • Create, authenticate and manage your account.
  • Store and display your journal entries, screenshots and settings.
  • Calculate dashboards, calendars, reports, performance statistics and behavioural insights.
  • Generate automated coaching and journal analysis.
  • Respond to questions, complaints and support requests.
  • Protect Lurevo and its users from misuse, fraud, unauthorised access and security threats.
  • Diagnose faults, maintain the service and improve reliability.
  • Meet legal, regulatory, tax and accounting obligations.

5. Lawful bases

Depending on the purpose, Lurevo may process personal information because:

  • It is necessary to provide the service or take steps requested by you before providing it.
  • It is necessary for legitimate interests, such as securing, maintaining and improving Lurevo, responding to support requests and preventing misuse.
  • It is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
  • You have provided consent, such as for optional marketing or non-essential analytics where consent is required.

You may withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before consent was withdrawn.

6. Automated analysis

Lurevo analyses information in your journal to produce statistics, observations, alerts and coaching suggestions.

These outputs are designed to support personal reflection. They are not used to make legal, employment, credit or similarly significant decisions about you.

Automated outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed in context.

7. Who we share information with

Lurevo does not sell your personal information.

Information may be shared with carefully selected providers where necessary to operate the service, including:

  • Database, authentication and file storage providers, currently including Supabase.
  • Website hosting and infrastructure providers.
  • Email and customer-support providers.
  • Payment and subscription providers if paid plans are introduced.
  • Analytics providers if optional analytics are introduced.
  • Professional advisers, insurers, regulators, law-enforcement bodies or courts where disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary.

Providers may only use information for the services they are engaged to perform, subject to their contractual and legal obligations.

8. International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom.

Where required, Lurevo will use an appropriate transfer mechanism, such as a UK adequacy regulation, contractual safeguards or another legally permitted method.

9. How long we keep information

Information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

  • Account, journal and settings data is generally retained while your account remains active.
  • When an account is deleted, active account data will normally be removed within 30 days, although encrypted backups may remain for up to 90 days.
  • Support correspondence may be retained for up to 24 months after the enquiry is resolved.
  • Security records may be retained for up to 12 months, or longer where necessary to investigate abuse.
  • Transaction and accounting records may be retained for the period required by tax and accounting law.

Information may be retained for longer where required for legal claims, regulatory obligations, fraud prevention or enforcement.

10. Security

Lurevo uses reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information, including account authentication, access controls, encrypted connections and database security rules.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. You must protect your password and should not share access to your account.

Contact support immediately if you believe somebody has accessed your account without permission.

11. Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

  • Ask for access to your personal information.
  • Ask for inaccurate information to be corrected.
  • Ask for information to be deleted.
  • Ask for processing to be restricted.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing.
  • Receive certain information in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis.

Requests can be sent to support@lurevo.co.uk. Identity verification may be required before a request is completed.

You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you believe your information has been handled unlawfully.

12. Cookies and browser storage

Lurevo may use essential cookies or browser storage to keep you signed in, protect account sessions, remember your theme and maintain service preferences.

These technologies are necessary for core functionality. Optional analytics or advertising technologies will not be introduced without providing any notice or consent controls required by law.

Blocking essential storage may prevent login and account features from working correctly.

13. Children

Lurevo is intended for people aged 18 or over. It is not knowingly designed to collect personal information from children.

14. Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when Lurevo, its providers or applicable legal requirements change. The latest version and update date will be displayed on this page.

Questions about this policy can be sent to support@lurevo.co.uk.
